 Check out that line! After much waiting and anticipation, today was finally the first day of our international tour to Toronto! Today, participants converged on historic Gettysburg, where they will rehearse for the next few days before we leave for Toronto on July 4. Participants checked in, completed required paperwork, and got uniforms and dorm assignments in a throng of other participants and family members. Then, they headed over to their dorm rooms to drop off their stuff and get settled in. They seem to be settling into college life well - some of them have already told me that their rooms were a mess!

After a great meal in Servo (aka the Gettysburg College Dining Hall), we had a looooong rehearsal (which is still going on as I write this - one of the perks of not being a musician is that you don't have to stay for all of the long rehearsals). Tomorrow will bring more rehearsing (of course), but also more fun as we get to spend some time here in Gettysburg and get to know one another.
